Bored, lazy Romance linguistics (Italian, French, Catalan) student resident in London. Although nominally interested in linguistics, history and anthropology, I have a much more pronounced interest in reading and writing erotica (especially in a fantasy, sword and sorcery milieu under the pen name "CrimsonLotus"); watching tasteful, intelligent Japanese animation; watching a fine Wong Kar-Wei film; playing a good, well constructed round of Dungeons and Dragons; and developing an amateur interest in oenology (well, they do say that female noses are more sensitive than male...so why the Devil are most sommeliers men?).
Aside from that...there is very little to say. No pets (cannot stand the things), incidental family relations, a multi-cultural life and background lived in a variety of places (Tokyo, Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Rome) some more interesting than others, but all enforced by the exigencies of a parent's profession.
My current major projects - University degree aside - revolve around the writing of my first, epic-scale, character driven fantasy erotica series titled "Sigil". As the name suggests, it is based on the excellent D&D setting, Planescapes, which achived brief cult notoriety for the excellent computer game Planescapes:Torment, which was one of the few times I bent over backwards on my principles and actually played an electronic RPG (another salient instance was Baldur's Gate II). The setting is TSR/WoTC but the characters are mine. Some good reviews have kept the project afloat and I am now so much into it that I feel, like something out of a Pirandello's play "Six Characters in Search of an Author", that there is a force majeure compelling me to finish this enterprise.
By all means take a look at http://www.asstr.org/files/Authors/CrimsonLotus/ - any and all feedback is welcome and will be answered promptly and thoroughly.
